What I wanted was what I needed, though never would I have imagined that what I needed was to be sent to the principal's office, threatened with permanent suspension, and kissed by the hottest guy at school.

Mockingjay 2: Return of the Muttations?

Sooooo....I just heard the latest Hunger Games news, and I’m not sure how I feel about it. It was officially confirmed this week that the third book in the series, Mockingjay, is going to be split into two films, following the trend set by the Harry Potter and Twilight adaptations. This means more Hunger Games movies (yay!) but does it make sense?

Catching Up with Harry Potter

I'm sure many of you out there are planning to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 this weekend--some of you probably even went last night. One of our intrepid teen librarians, Jessica, attended the midnight showing and she's going to be posting a review on Monday. We're hoping you'll bring all of your observations and spoiler-free criticisms of the film and comment on that post!

The Hunger Games countdown is on!

You, me and everybody else are all waiting impatiently for the third book of The Hunger Games series to arrive--I can't wait to find out what will happen to Katniss and her family, which guy she'll end up with (Team Peeta!) and what's really going on in District 13. Oh, and are any of them even going to survive? I'm also dying to know more about the history of Panem, and the rebellion that caused the Hunger Games to start in the first place.

An epic of epic epicness!

This is a big summer for Scott Pilgrim fans! Scott Pilgrim vs the World, the movie based on the popular comic book series, is finally coming out this Friday AND the sixth and final book in the series was released in July (it's coming to OPL soon, so keep your eyes open!).

You can visit the official movie website to create your own Scott Pilgrim-style avatar (fun!) and watch the trailer.
