Recycle Rock with Junkyard Symphony

August 25, 2015 - 6:00pm

Using ordinary objects, this performance teaches the basics of rhythm and recycling. Students learn about the four R’s of waste reduction (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Rock!), the basics of rhythm, ultimately discovering that rhythm is truly a universal language. Ages 12 and under.

Set back off the street in a lovely park, the Rockcliffe Park branch is the home of two special collections: an art book collection funded by Margaret Bailey and a science collection funded by Michael Potter.
