Inuit Day !

Saturday February 7 will be Inuit Day, at the Ottawa Inuit Children's Centre (OICC), located at 224 and 230 on McArthur. The OICC invites everybody from 1-4pm to celebrate Inuit culture with them -- outside!

Reflections on aging : a reading circle

Join a reading circle to explore older adulthood as portrayed in a wide range of writings. Discussions will be facilitated by Trudy Medcalf, a gerontologist and writer, and Wendy Robbins, a library consultant and former CBC producer. Readings will be provided.

A community centre library, the St. Laurent branch is part of the Don Gamble Community Centre. The complex includes a pool, arena and meeting facilities. The St. Laurent branch collection has a large number of French-language items and a vibrant children's department, all in a bright and airy atmosphere.
