This database provides full-text articles from over 360 academic journals and literary magazines, biographical essays on more than 130,000 authors from reference works, and full-text of thousands of poems and short stories published in contemporary journals and magazines.

Offers streaming access to over 1 million tracks ranging from classical and jazz to world music.  Can be accessed from any computer, anywhere, anytime with your library card.  Also features an app that can be used on iPhones, iPads and Android devices.

Information about fiction books to match readers with age-appropriate books for school or pleasure reading. Each title is selected by the team of school media specialists and children’s librarians. The information is divided into sections:  kids 0-8, kids 9-12, teens and those working with young people. Author biographies, booktalks and book discussion guides are included for teens. Teachers can find information on curriculae (including Canadian), “Grab and Go book lists” for fiction curricular-based topics, and featured articles by industry experts. Parents may find this useful to find relevant books for their children.
