Libraries for Ottawa

Libraries for Ottawa is how we describe the Ottawa Public Library Board’s vision to invest in the future of our city’s library services and meet the needs of library users in our dynamic, growing city. Linked to the Board’s strategic plan, Libraries for Ottawa aims to: implement improvements in existing branches, develop new branches to support growth and address service gaps, and to build a new Central Library to ensure a strong foundation for the system.
