About Kill-a-Watt meters

• Kill-a-Watt meters allow borrowers to measure the electricity consumption of home appliances
• Meters are free to borrow for one week
• Overdue fee: $1/day
• Meters can be renewed once.
• Replacement cost is $60 + processing fee.
• Kill-a-Watt are offered through the EnviroCentre and funding is provided by the City of Ottawa Community Environmental Grants Program
