How to Connect

Wireless service is available at all 33 branches during library hours of operation. You must provide your own wireless device, such as a laptop or mobile device. Wireless users are required to abide by the provisions of the Public Network Access Policy.

To access wireless service, follow these steps:

  1. Connect to the network opl-bpo.
  2. Open your browser.
  3. Enter your library card number and PIN.
  4. Check the box I accept.
  5. Your device must be set to enable cookies. Any pop-up blockers must be disabled.

The login screen does not open.

The network suddenly stops.

There are no time limits set on use of the wireless network (within the library’s opening hours); however, you will be automatically logged out after 10 minutes of inactivity.

I have an out-of-town visitor who would like to use the Library’s wireless service.

Out-of-town visitors may obtain an Internet-only card from the Borrower Services desk.

My child wants to use the service, but I want a filter.

By default, adult cards will provide unfiltered access to the Internet, while juvenile cards will provide filtered access (unless a parent requests otherwise).

Is there technical support available.

Support is limited only to checking the wireless connection and checking borrower barcodes.
