Browsealoud

Browsealoud is an application that allows you to have website content read to you. You simply download a small browser plug-in, and once installed, content on the site can be spoken aloud as you move the cursor over text. Browsealoud is free to download and you have control over the voice, word pronunciations and speech highlighting.

The latest version of BrowseAloud also includes functionality such as an MP3 Maker, Screen Masking, Dictionary (English-language version only), Translator and Text Magnification.

The size of the installation ranges from between 6 Mb to 14 Mb depending on your operating system. Additional speech engines and languages are available to download.
