The Ottawa Public Library works to build a strong Ottawa community by supporting life-long learning and 21st century literacies, fostering inspiration and enjoyment, and connecting people to each other and the world.

It does this by offering residents equal access to information, resources and ideas in trusted, bilingual, physical and virtual settings that serve as community gathering spaces and resource centres. The Ottawa Public Library heartily welcomes outside support to enhance our offerings to the community.
