Ottawa – Young writers won’t want to miss their chance to enter the Ottawa Public Library’s Awesome Authors Youth Writing Contest. The deadline is Monday, January 31.
The contest is open to writers between the ages of 9 and 17. They are invited to submit poems and short stories in English and/or French.
This contest is sponsored by the Friends of the Ottawa Public Library Association. They annually publish pot-pourri, an anthology of the winning poems and stories. Participants can also win awesome prizes which will be presented in March.
