Local Author: Iain Reid
Join Iain Reid as he reads his new book, Truth About Luck. In this memoir Reid accompanies his grandmother on a five-day vacation – which turned out to be a “staycation” at his basement apartment in Kingston. Told with subtlety, humour, and heart, this delightful memoir reflects on family connections; how we experience adversity, the passage of time, and aging; and what it truly means to feel lucky. Iain Reid is the author of the critically acclaimed comic memoir One Bird's Choice, which won the CBC Bookie Award for Best Nonfiction Book of the year and was published internationally.
