The book follows the lives of two close friends who travel to Britain to complete their studies and return to Yemen, having been exposed to western society and culture. | Art can be Fun…even for Adults Thursday Jun 07, 2012 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm Category : Arts and Culture, Learning Somewhere along the line adults lose the carefree attitude towards creating art they had as children. This workshop explores the reasons why so many adults feel self-conscious because they can only draw stick figures. The various aspects of how this happens will be discussed along with a few easy exercises to help you reconnect with your artistic side. This workshop will be given by artist Louise Carota, originally a native of California, best known as the sculptor of the cast stainless steel statues in the Ottawa Fire Fighters Monument.
