Starting Monday, June 3, the Main branch of Ottawa Public Library will be undergoing significant repairs to the building’s foundation.
The main entrance will be limited to one door only but will remain accessible.
The branch, collections, and all services will remain open and available throughout the construction.
All OPL branches and services will be closed on Monday, May 20 for Victoria Day. Regular hours will resume Tuesday May 21.
The material dispensers at the Hunt Club-Riverside Park Community Centre are unavailable until further notice.
Due to roof upgrades, the Alta Vista branch of Ottawa Public Library will be temporarily closed from June 3 for approximately six weeks.
Although the branch will be closed during this time, OPL will offer select services at the Jim Durrell Recreation Centre (JDRC), located at 1265 Walkley Road.
The reopening date will be announced as soon as possible as construction proceeds.
The bookdrop at Osgoode is temporarily offline and will not automatically check in library materials.
