Accessible formats and communications support

Revised October 19, 2020

The Ottawa Public Library (OPL) will arrange for, and cover the costs of, accommodations requested by customers with accessibility needs in order that they can participate equally in library programs and events.

Processing requests

Requests for accommodations can be submitted to employees in person, by phone or by electronic format such as email or by using the Accessible formats and communications support form on the website.

Upon receipt of a request, employees may help customers complete the online form, which is forwarded to the OPL Accessibility Office to process.

The OPL Accessibility Office will respond to all requests for accessibility accommodation.
