Will you be tuning in to the JUNO Awards this weekend? Airing live on Sunday, March 17th, Canada’s biggest night in music will be hosted by the 12-time JUNO award winner Sarah McLachlan and feature performances by some of Canada’s best musical talent. 

If you would like to listen to the nominees before the big night, the Ottawa Public Library has you covered! Take a look at our list below to place a hold or stream the nominated artists. You can also check out our music CD collection and streaming services to find all of your favourite Canadian music. 

Don’t forget to give some love to Ottawa’s local musicians as well! This year’s JUNO nominees feature a number of Ottawa-based artists:

  • Left to our own devices / Jack Pine and the Fire (Album Artwood of the Year)
  • 8:47 / Elijah Woods x Jamie Fine (Breakthrough Group of the Year, Fan Choice Award)
  • The end of flowers / Gryphon Trio (Classical Album of the Year: Solo or Chamber)
  • New worlds / NAC Orchestra (Classical Album of the Year: Large Ensemble; Classical Composition of the Year)
  • Immigrant / Belly (Rap Recording of the Year)
