Library Settlement Workers (LSWs) provide in person, one-on-one assistance to help newcomer families as they settle into their communities.

They provide clients with essential community information and link individuals and families to community and settlement services. They can help you with information and referral service on:

• Career and employment

• English and French conversation groups

• Homework clubs for adults kids and teens

• Language learning and assessment

• Schools and education, continuing education

• Housing Immigration

• Legal issues

• Preparation for citizenship test

• Preparation for Ontario drivers test

• And any other settlement questions and issues.
