For fans of literary fiction, the autumn season brings longlists, shortlists, and celebratory events recognizing exceptional works and their authors. Three awards of note with approaching shortlists and finalist galas include:
The Booker Prize for Fiction
The Booker Prize recognizes outstanding works of fiction written in English and published in the UK and Ireland. Learn more about this year's panel of judges, past winners, and eligibility here. This year's prize is awarded on October 17, 2022.
The Atwood Gibson Writers' Trust Fiction Prize

The Scotiabank Giller Prize
