Throughout the month of June, we have curated a diverse range of activities that cater to all ages, embracing the spirit of love, diversity, and equality. Get ready to experience a multitude of personal stories in our mini documentary film festival! We have partnered with the National Film Board to showcase a diverse selection of 2SLGBTQIA+ films that explore various journeys through pain, triumphs, and the exploration of identity. Each feature-length film will be preceded by a few short films with related themes and topics. Join us Thursdays in June as we celebrate the art of film, elevate LGBTQ+ voices, and embrace the power of representation.
Drag Royalty Family Story Time at the NAC

Calling all young queens and kings, princes, and princesses! Our enchanting Drag Royalty Story Time in partnership with the National Arts Centre is back by popular demand. On June 28th, join us for a fabulous morning filled with dance, music, and the magic of stories. Our special guest storytellers will transport children into a world of imagination while promoting acceptance, self-expression, and inclusivity.
The Expressive and Social Body with Lola Ryan

Participants experience the joys of dance and athletic movement in a context that extends their abilities but also protects them from strain or over-use. The use of theatre games may be of interest to some groups as well.
Science Workshops for Kids and Teens

This workshop by the Canadian Centre for Gender and Sexual Diversity dives into the world of biodiversity and some of the weirdest and most awesome animals on the planet. Are there really only two sexes? Are males always bigger than females? All these questions and more will be answered in our whirlwind tour of biodiversity and myths in the animal kingdom.
