    OPL is offering a new Returns and Holds Pickup service at six branch locations: Main, Nepean Centrepointe, Cumberland, Beaverbrook, Greenboro, Ruth E. Dickson, during new hours of operation.

Coding at Main


Are you between the ages of 9 and 12 years old?  Do you live downtown?  Are you interested in learning to code? 

The Main branch invites you to our new after-school club “Coding with Scratch”.  Scratch is an easy to use online program for learning coding.  The Ottawa Public Library has a number of workbooks to help you use the program.  In the club, we will work together to practice new tasks each week.  By the end of the month you will have created your very own videogame!  

The program will run every Thursday in April from 4:00-4:50pm.  Register today with a library card.
