Day of Pink

What the pink is going on?!

If you visited your local library branch today, you may have noticed that some of the staff members were wearing pink and that the service hub was decorated with pink accoutrement. If you noticed, but were too shy to ask why, let me explain.

Today is the International Day of Pink. It’s a day against Bullying, Discrimination, Homophobia, Transphobia, and Transmisogyny across the world.

If you can’t make it to a branch today, you can still check out what pink shenanigans our branches have done to bring awareness to Day of Pink. Check out our social media pages:

Did you know there are many materials in our collection that can help make everyday Day of Pink day. Take a look at the lists for Children, Teens, and Adults.
