The Dublin Literary Award is presented annually for a novel written or translated into English. Books are nominated for the award by invited public libraries in cities throughout the world, making the award unique in its coverage of international fiction.
The Dublin revealed their shortlist of 6 finalists in March 2023, and are set to announce a winner in May 2023. Browse the shortlist titles and authors below, click on books to read a description or place a hold.

The Award promotes excellence in world literature and is solely sponsored by Dublin City Council, and administered by Dublin City Libraries. Nominations are submitted by libraries in major cities throughout the world.
