UPDATE: Curbside services during the stay-at-home order– effective Apr. 8


Starting Thursday, April 8:

  • All our open branches will offer curbside returns and holds pick up.
  • Customers will no longer be permitted to enter the buildings.
  • The Bookmobile and Homebound Services will continue.
  • Hours of operation will remain the same.
  • Borrowed items can only be returned when branches are open.
  • Mask wearing outside in line remains mandatory.

  1. Join award-winning journalist, radio host, and activist Desmond Cole for an evening of discussion on Tuesday July 28 at 7 PM.  

  1. Join the Ottawa Tool Library’s bike experts on Monday July 27 at 7PM for an evening Q&A where you can find out all about bike repair!  

  1. Join The Festival of Literary Diversity as three writers discuss the way Black writing and storytelling transform cities – and the people who occupy cities – particularly during times of civil unrest, Monday July 7 at 7PM.  

  1. Join Esie Mensah, celebrated dancer/choreographer/producer/movement consultant and speaker and Akosua Amo-Adem for a conversation about the realities of the industry, the creative process, and the intersectionality of text and dance, on Wednesday July 29 at 5PM.  

  1.  Join NAC Music Director Alexander Shelley for a live 1.5-hour conductors’ workshop on July 27th at 12:30 PM. He will host an in-depth discussion on Rimsky-Korsakov's Schéhérazade with the three conducting fellows from MusicFest Canada's Denis Wick Canadian Wind Orchestra.
