Esi Edugyan wins 2018 Giller for Washington Black


Highly acclaimed internationally, Washington Black scores the biggest Canadian literary prize for Edugyan!  Her last novel Half-Blood Blues won the Giller in 2011, making her the first to win for two novels back to back. Both titles were also widely nominated for big awards, including the Man Booker, and garnered amazing reviews in some prestigious review journals such as the Washington Post, The New York Times and The Guardian.
