Facebook Live Video of “In conversation with Tobly McSmith, author of 'Stay Gold'”

02/09/2020

On Monday, August 24th, we were fortunate to host YA author Tobly McSmith in conversation with local moderator Fae Johnstone about his debut YA novel, Stay Gold.

The novel follows the story of Pony and Georgia. Told in two voices, Pony, who is concealing his transgender identity at his new Texas high school, and Georgia, a cisgender cheerleader counting the days until she graduates, develop a complicated relationship.

Fae and Tobly discussed the novel, but also many other things plus a few furry cameos - if you missed this event, you can view their conversation here: https://www.facebook.com/TransFestOttawa/videos/1485803918293788/?vh=e&extid=NHZZR4nHJyMmley4

Thanks to both guests for a wonderful time spent virtually with OPL! Happy Pride!
