Faith by Jody Houser - Teen English Comic Book Review

23/08/2016

Faith aka Zephyr aka Summer Smith is the first plus sized superhero to land her own comic book! Stepping out on her own, Faith Herbert is determined to become the hero she always knew she could be, but after uncovering a deep-rooted alien conspiracy her plan to fly solo becomes tougher than she ever thought.=

This Teen English comic book is so well done! I absolutely love it! Beautifully illustrated by Francis Portela and witty storyline by Jody Houser makes this a 5 stars out of 5! Not only can plus sized individuals relate to the main character, but anyone who feels different will appreciate this new superhero adventure. Want to try a superhero comic but want a female lead? Look no further; Faith is it!

I have never previously thought about participating in Cosplay events and/or ComicCon but after reading this comic book I knew I really want to make a Faith costume for Halloween 2016 and to participate in future Cosplay/ComicCon outings. Place a hold on this title and you will definitely not regret it. Below are some other equally engaging female lead comic books. Enjoy!
