Found on the New Books shelf: Crafting with Cat Hair

14/12/2011

Crafting with Cat Hair If you happen to collect feline fur, you might be interested in Crafting with Cat Hair, written by Kaori Tsutaya and translated from the Japanese by Amy Hirschman. It includes various projects that you can create with your pet's hair, including knickknack boxes, pincushions, mittens, and more.

Also included are tips on caring for your cat's coat, as well as profiles of the various feline individuals who provided the fur for the crafts featured in this book. One photo includes two cats sniffing and gnawing on finger puppets that have been made out of their hair. "Yum," is written in the speech bubble above one cat's head. "This smells like me!" adds the other.

We cater to all tastes here at the public library.
