Haunted Ottawa

une maison hantée

Every year around this time, I find myself seeking out ghost stories and spooky experiences, especially when they relate to Ottawa in some way. When I learned of The Haunted Walk’s new program, The Haunting at Laurier House, I knew I had to check it out.

This spooky tour of the historic house inhabited by two of Canada’s former Prime Ministers, William Lyon Mackenzie King and Sir Wilfrid Laurier, includes tales from the house’s haunted history. Did you know, for instance, that Mackenzie King was such a strong believer in the paranormal that he often invited a psychic to hold séances in his home?

Get yourself into the spirit (hehe) of Halloween with some delightfully spooky stories, alarming anecdotes, and terrifying tales!
