Toy Mountain Drop-off Locations at the Library
This year, the Beaverbrook Branch and the Ruth E Dickinson Branch have volunteered to be drop-off locations for Toy Mountain.
Toy Mountain is a charity toy drive that runs during the holiday season and is led by CTV and The Salvation Army. Each year, it provides toys to over 20,000 children in need during the holiday season. The charity distributes toys to children aged 0-12, and accepts gifts including Lego, board games, sports equipment, and stuffed animals.
How can you donate?
The charity hopes you can help by donating a new, unwrapped toy and placing it in a Toy Mountain donation bin before December 18th. If you are dropping off your toy donations at one of our two library locations listed above, please remember that we can only accept them during our open hours.
All donations will be picked up by Toy Mountain and distributed to children in the Ottawa community. You can also donate online.
