Oct 28, 2021
From November 22 to 27 -- FREE and entirely online.
Once again, the Ottawa Public Library is thrilled to partner with Ottawa StoryTellers to offer the 27th Ottawa Children’s Storytelling Festival.
Six Days, 30 tellers
Join us for six full days of tales from November 22-27, 2021. With 30 tellers from across Canada participating, there will be something for all tastes and ages: tales and rhymes for the little ones, stories full of twists and turns for the older ones and beautiful traditional tales told by Indigenous tellers. In both French and English.
Little ones are sure to enjoy the Rhythms and Rhyme time with Heather Whaley and traditional Cree and Anishinabe tales with Chantal Gagnon. Older children will discover fairy tales from Ireland, Scotland, Newfoundland, and beyond with Catherine Wright. Learn to live in harmony with their environment especially trees with the tales of June Brown. They will follow Diana Tso toward a dark room or a shining light. If they are brave, they can join Rachel Dunstan Mueller in a Dark and Stormy Night. With so many good programs, What Could Possibly Go Wrong? They must join Anna Kerz to find out!
… And so many others!
Allow the many stories to captivate and transport you. No matter your child’s age or their preferences, there will be something for them! Don't miss it! For full details and schedule, visit the Festival’s webpage.
