Letting the alcohol (inks) flow at the Manotick Branch

Alcohol ink particpants

The Manotick Branch hosted another lovely art program on September 10th, this time using the Zentangle doodling art coloured by alcohol inks.  Alcohol inks are a dye- or pigment-based, intense media that can be diluted with isopropyl alcohol and applied to non-porous media to produce spectacular results.  Alison, Manotick's Branch Supervisor, led the program that left the particpants drunk...with enthusiasm.

There are still other art programs available throughout the Ottawa Public Library.  Just click on the "Programs and Events" menu from the Main Page and filter the results by branch and/or type of programs "Hobbies and Crafts" or "Arts and Culture".  Most programs require your sign-in with your library card.  We hope to see you at the next event!
