Dear Hanging On,

Work is a big part of life, and if you're not into it, that's a real challenge. Sometimes, though, the biggest challenges can present an opportunity!

Each of us is growing and changing, learning and re-inventing ourselves. Sometimes we get to choose how and when those changes happen. Sometimes, life's circumstances force us to change. Getting to choose how change happens is a good thing! Even though you have a few years more to work, this is a gift of time to think about what really matters to you and how you want to face the challenge. Think of it as having 9 lives and doing your best to make each one interesting!

Take some time to find out more about yourself: what inspires you, what gives you a feeling of purpose? Find ways to add meaning to what you are doing every day and prepare your inner self for the life that awaits you after this gig is up! And if this all sounds like serious business, spend time enjoying the little things in life every day and even making time for a catnap! Most importantly, don't forget to laugh!
