On Monday, March 21 you are invited to showcase everything you love about Ottawa as CBC Ottawa hosts the HEART MY CITY PROJECT to capture "a day in the life" of our iconic hometown and share the moments that make up the pulse of our vibrant city.  Plus, the day will culminate with a free public event of story and song at the historic Horticulture Building at Lansdowne Park.

From the mundane to the magical, from the east to the west, and everywhere in between, CBC wants to see why you love Ottawa, through your lens. Submit your photo or video that showcases your favourite places, people or activities on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook. Include #heartmyYOW and @CBCOttawa in your post. Please tag us on Twitter with @opl_bpo and on Facebook with @BiblioOttawaLibrary too!

CBC is hosting a free public event that night. CBC will host a Heart My City Concert that night with music by Yaa-Hemaa, DJ Memetic, Amanda Rheaume, Jeremy Fisher, Jim Bryson and Kalle Mattson. The event will also feature CBC personalities, giveaways, and a live art installation by renowned local artist Bhat Boy.
