As part of the Awesome Authors Writing Contest, all children ages 9 to 18 will benefit from seven weeks of free creative writing workshops! All contest participants are eligible to register for those workshops as well as many other children who are OPL cardholders.  

Local renowned authors will come and share with you their knowledge and experiences in writing different literary genres and styles such as poetry, short stories, and comics. Feel free to show them your writing piece! They will answer your questions and give you valuable advice that will be useful throughout your writing career.
