Meet the GG 2016 English-Language Finalists in Young People's Literature


The Governor General's Literary Awards (The GGs), founded in 1936 and celebrating their 80th anniversary this year. Each year, The GGs honour the best Canadian English and French books in seven categories: Fiction, Poetry, Drama, Non-fiction, Young People's Literature-Illustrated Books, Young People’s Literature-Text, and Translation. The winners, each of whom will receive $25,000, will be announced on October 25, 2016.
