My favourite romantic, short, fun summer reads

23/04/2013

Since the weather is kind of all over the place at the moment, I thought I’d cheer us all up with the thought of summer! This week’s blog is about my favourite romantic, short, fun summer reads.

The Encyclopedia of Me

The first book is The Encyclopedia of Me by Karen Rivers. This book is written like an encyclopedia which I think is incredibly cool, also it’s short and cute. It’s about a girl named Tink, who doesn’t think she fits in, until she meets a blue haired boy. I love Tink’s outrageous personality and sense of humour.  It’s a must read!

The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight

One of my all-time favourites is The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith. This book is one of those fairy-tale romances that you only find in movies and Disney Princess stories. It’s about a girl, who meets a guy on a plane, they get separated, and the rest of the book is about her trying to find him again.

Cornelia and the Audacious Escapades of the Somerset Sisters

This last book I read when I was younger, but it’s a fun quick read that makes you happy. It’s called Cornelia and the Audacious Escapades of the Somerset Sisters by Lesley M. M. Blume. It is about the daughter of two famous pianists, who feels extremely lonely, until a glamorous lady named Virginia moves in next door with her servant and her mischievous bulldog.

I hope this blog has given you some ideas of books you can read this summer, or even just to get in a summery mood!
