Nominate a young trailblazer by February 9

Do you know (or are you) a Youth Trailblazer?

New this year, Ottawa Public Library is partnering with CBC Ottawa to launch the CBC and OPL-BPO Youth Trailblazer Award for ages 10 to 17. The CBC Ottawa Trailblazer awards are given annually to Ottawa individuals who have had a positive impact – big or small- in their community. This additional CBC and OPL-BPO Youth Trailblazer Award is defined by the difference a young person makes in their community; the award celebrates young people who embody the qualities of a CBC Trailblazer while inspiring others, challenging the status quo, addressing community issues and/or leading by example.

Do you know or are you a youth community member making a difference? The Youth Trailblazer will receive much more than an award. Most importantly, they’ll have the opportunity to share their story about how they’ve made a positive impact in Ottawa.
