Our Human Library Turns 5!

Bibliothèque vivante
22/02/2016

If you had the opportunity to meet someone from a very different walk of life, what questions might you ask them? On Saturday, February 27, you will have the chance to do so as OPL hosts its 5th annual Human Library event in partnership with CBC Ottawa. A few of the "human books" who will be available to borrow for a 20-minute conversation include:

  • Anishinaabe Roots
  • Domestic Violence Survivor
  • Formerly Homeless
  • Human Trafficking Survivor
  • Living with Asperger Syndrome
  • Living with PTSD
  • Naturist
  • RCMP Officer

Check out our Human Library page for the complete list of the 30 books who will be participating in this event at our Beaverbrook, Main, and St-Laurent branches.
