Party Poppers

Getting bored at home? Try making these marshmallow launchers and see how far you can send a marshmallow into orbit! Kids of all ages will have great fun with these party poppers. Try other projectiles such as pompoms or confetti.

 

Materials:

  • A paper cup
  • A balloon
  • Scissors
  • Tape or an elastic
  • Projectiles: Marshmallows, pompoms, confetti

 

Instructions:

  • Get a clean paper cup and cut out the bottom
  • Take a balloon and cut off the tip of the balloon.
  • Knot the tail of the balloon and stretch the top of the balloon over the bottom of the cup.
  • Optional: You can tape the balloon in place or add an elastic to secure
  • Put a marshmallow in the cup, pull back the balloon tail and let go. Watch it soar!
