Ride On!

30/05/2013

Summer is a great time to discover what your city has to offer and what better way than on a bike! The first weekend in June is Ottawa’s annual Capital Vélo Fest bike festival. It features cycling products, entertainment and information that’s sure to get your wheels turning. If you miss it, you can still take advantage of the many bike trails, including the over 50 kilometers parkways reserved for cyclists, in-line skaters, runners and walkers every Sunday. Sunday Bikedays run from 9AM to 1PM every Sunday from Victoria Day Weekend through Labour Day.

Holy Spokes! On the rainy days, you can always stay dry in the library and read up about your favourite summer sports. Check out Holy Spokes, it covers everything from fixing your bike to competing in your first race.
