On Friday and Saturday October 10-11, Centennial held a Sleepover Storytime for young customer's stuffed animals. It was a HUGE success! On Friday afternoon the children made blankets for their stuffies had a story, and then put them to bed.. On Saturday morning the children and their parents came back for a storytime and "breakfast." After the children left on Friday night, I rearranged the stuffed animals and took pictures of them in various areas of the library, having all kinds of adventures. They climbed the shelving and read stories, they played with the Lego, and other toys, (right in the Toy Box too!), and some even searched the Disney website at my computer! I made a PowerPoint presentation of all the pictures to show the children on Saturday. The stuffed animals' hijinks certainly entertained their owners when they saw what they had been up to! This was soooo much fun to plan and carry out!
