Spotted at the Dot Mandala Program

Participants in Manotick's Dot Mandala Painting Program

On Tuesday September 4th, the Manotick Branch Library hosted the first in a series of adult art programs created for a community art project known as "Puzzle Art".  It involves the community creating beautiful works of art on small puzzle-shaped card stock in order to piece together a large collective design.  The art techniques involved include Dot Mandala painting, Mandala drawing and Zentangle drawing.

We had 13 attendees, of various artistic abilities, who created a variety of dot mandalas each as beautiful as the other, with the artists' unique slant on the format.
