MANDATORY: Masks are required to be worn inside Ottawa Public Library branches, as per theTemporary Mandatory Mask By-law. Customers who are not wearing masks will not be allowed inside branches. Exceptions apply for people with medical exemptions.

Tax Benefits and Credits Info Clinics

It’s time to start thinking about Tax Planning!  For low to moderate income earners, there are many tax benefits and credits available through the Canadian Government.  
Find out about all that you can take advantage of to get a better refund on your income tax return. 
A bilingual officer from the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) will share information on tax-related topics such as:

  • Benefits and credits available  (GST/HST, Canada Child Benefit, Disability Tax Credit and more)
  • Medical Expenses
  • Plus topics for Seniors, Newcomers, and Persons with Disabilities
  • Free Community Volunteer Income Tax Clinics coming in March and April.
