Mysterious-Time-Travelling-Alien-Needs-Human-Girl’s Help-to-Save-the-World…

Yes, you heard me correctly.

If you love Doctor Who, you’re going to love the Earth & Sky series by Megan Crewe.

The first book, Earth & Sky opens with Skylar, a girl whose head is full of numbers who is constantly plagued by a sense of wrongness in her world, as she and the rest of her class are waiting for their teacher to show up so they can attend some trials for their law class. As she’s waiting, she notices that there’s a guy hanging around. What should be a normal field trip, suddenly turns into a horrifying experience for Skylar as she suddenly experiences an explosion…  but, as she looks around her she realizes that no one else seems to have noticed and that guy is now in the hallway with them.

When Skylar sees that same guy later outside her school, she decides to confront him. He noticed that she was able to sense something different, she saw the explosion. He says that he can help her and tell her why she has these sudden feelings of wrongness all the time. Win, the mysterious guy, tells Skylar that he’s an alien who time travelled to Earth to help save the humans from his own race who has been experimenting with human timelines for centuries. Skylar feels the wrongness when one of Win’s kind has made a change and now he needs her help. Her sensitivity to the changes will help Win find the clues his leader left throughout human history that will allow him to change humanity's future for the better and free them from the control of Win's people.

The first book in this series is a whirlwind of fun; I promise you won't be able to put it down.

Tonight, Megan Crewe is discussing the last book in the trilogy, A Sky Unbroken, which starts with our beloved Skylar, along with her friends and family, trapped in a human zoo! Earth has been destroyed. They've been betrayed. How is Skylar going to escape? What does the future look like for human beings? To find out, you'll have to hurry up and place a hold on this series!
