Teen Book of the Week!

10/07/2012

For Darkness Shows the StarsThis one’s a twist on Jane Austen’s Persuasion, but you don’t need to know the Austen tale to appreciate the book. A story of long lost love, the reader will be on the edge of their seat waiting for the couple to rekindle the flame.  The romance between the two main characters starts at a young age and is shared through letters that are placed throughout the chapters.  Elliot is a strong heroine and as a member of the high society, the Luddites, she manages to do good for others while being a romantic lead character.  If both romance and post apocalyptic novels appeal to you, this title is not one to be missed!
