The parking lot at the Carlingwood branch of Ottawa Public Library (281 Woodroffe) will be repaved with a permeable paving system starting Tuesday, July 2 until early October. The branch will remain open as usual during the repairs.
Parking is permitted for OPL clients at the Carlingwood Shopping Centre (2121 Carling Ave). Please be aware that there will be construction noise during this period.
Located just off Carling Avenue, the Carlingwood branch is conveniently located to shopping and a major bus route. The branch features a bright and airy feel spread over three floors. A bustling children's department greets visitors on the ground floor and adds to the vital atmosphere. This branch has a Friends of the Ottawa Public Library Association (FOPLA) used book store.
