The Manotick branch of the Ottawa Public Library will be closed from Monday, September 19 to Thursday, September 29, inclusive. The branch will reopen on Friday, September 30.
During the closures, the branch will be fully converted to Radio-Frequency Identification technology (RFID) and will receive a new single point of service. New book drops and a new accessible entrance will also be installed during this period.
The book drop will not be available after Saturday, September 17 and throughout the closure. Borrowed items can be returned at any other OPL branch.

Located on Long Island, the Manotick branch is supported by an active group of volunteers who help maintain and beautify the grounds. A meeting room to accommodate 40 people is available, as well as the full resources of the OPL through the online catalogue. Manotick has a long history of excellent library service and the present day branch is no exception.
