Join us for the launch of What the Haruspex Read in the Small Hours of My Body by David Groulx, the 2019 recipient of the John Newlove Poetry Award.

Hosted by Amanda Earl, the evening also features readings by this year’s award recipient and honourable mentions—to be announced at the reading—plus music by Kimberly Sunstrum. Presented in partnership with the Ottawa International Writers Festival, and Library and Archives Canada.

You can attend via Zoom (please register to receive the link) or by Facebook Live.

We encourage our audiences to read widely, and shop (or borrow) locally. Please click to see the featured authors' books in the library catalogue: Amanda Earl and David Groulx. A limited number of signed books are available from our friends at Perfect Books.
