MANDATORY: Masks are required to be worn inside Ottawa Public Library branches, as per theTemporary Mandatory Mask By-law. Customers who are not wearing masks will not be allowed inside branches. Exceptions apply for people with medical exemptions.

Danny Ramadan's Author Visit

Come meet Ahmad Danny Ramadan, Canadian-Syrian award-winning author based in Vancouver, to discover his novel The Clothesline Swing. As a strong and proud advocate for LGBTQ+ and refugee rights, Danny addresses the topics in his novel and in his new picture book entitled Salma the Syrian Chef, set to be released in March 2020. Come and discover the two titles and hear about his writing process and inspiration. There will be plenty of time for questions from the audience and you will even get to listen to excerpts from The Clothesline Swing, presented by theatre students and local actors.
