    OPL is offering a new Returns and Holds Pickup service at six branch locations: Main, Nepean Centrepointe, Cumberland, Beaverbrook, Greenboro, Ruth E. Dickson, during new hours of operation.

Discover Your City by Bike

Join Jen Stelzer from EnviroCentre to discover some of the interesting destinations in Ottawa that are easily accessible by bicycle.  Heritage sites, nature areas and public art are a few of the destinations that will be covered.   Route planning resources will also be highlighted to help you plan your own adventure!  This seminar is intended for people of all ages and cycling abilities.   

 

Jennifer is the Community Programs Manager at EnviroCentre. She has a BA in Geography with a keen interest in urban landscapes and programs that influence citizen behaviour. She is an avid cyclist and her passion for encouraging sustainable transportation and lighter living is reflected in the work she does. She has been exploring cities by bike for over 40 years and loves encouraging others to do the same! She is a member of the Historical Society of Ottawa and often looks to the past to understand how today’s urban spaces came to be.
