Michael Arvaarluk Kusugak grew up in Repulse Bay, Nunavut. Michael brings his experiences and the stories told by him by his grandmother into his books and stories. Michael has 18 books and has received many awards .Michael continues to write and travel across  around the world telling stories. He now lives in Manitoba
